WyWires came into existence after eight years of research and empirical testing. The vision of the company is to design and build products for the music lover, first and foremost. As such, the WyWires design concepts focus on musicality, accuracy, realism, and the ability to emotionally connect the listener with the performance being reproduced in the home.
The Blue series represents a “trickle down” approach, taking what we have learned during the ongoing development of the Silver series of cables and applying that knowledge to offer a more economical product line. The Blue Series offers much of the performance attributes as the Silver albeit in a simplified and less luxurious offering, at entry level pricing.
The Silver series is the classic line that started the revolution in air dielectric, Litz wire design. The Silver line embodies our design philosophy of ”less is more,” yielding unprecedented electrical and sonic performance.
The Platinum series takes most of the elements of the Silver and adds additional conductor material of varying gauges of Litz wire to accomplish the goals of higher bandwidth and greater frequency extension especially at the low end of the spectrum with increased dynamic range and “slam”. In addition, the Platinum adds greater dimensional information along with more separation of instruments and performers within the soundstage. Identified by brilliant white outer sheathing/sparkling silver underlayer.
The Diamond series is the newest cable in the WyWires lineup (October 2014). Diamond is a brand new design, taking all that WyWires has learned to create a new concept in Litz wire air dielectric design. Diamond cables contain a complex combination of different conductor and dielectric materials, optimized to provide a neutral and well-balanced tone, along with detail retrieval that goes beyond what WyWires cable have been able to do in the past. Additionally, the Diamond line has been able to achieve a superior level of transparency and dynamics for the ultimate music enjoyment experience. Identified by purple label and a bluish-silver sheen.
WyWires Red series is the newest line for the personal listening market, including headphones cables and extension cables. RED cables are compatible with a variety of headphone and amplifier options. WyWires has designed a new Litz wire formula and cable to be flexible, lightweight, durable, and non-microphonic. RED is also WyWires thinnest cable line to date, in keeping with their less-is-more philosophy. RED is identified by red body, with white pigtails that connect to the headphone.

WyWires digital interfaces enable your system to preserve all the detail, dynamics, ambiance and presence that are present in the recording.
The development of WyWires’ digital cables required considerable effort in ensuring perfect electrical parameters such as low capacitance, rejection of crosstalk and external interferences along with perfect characteristic impedance for the specific application. Like all of our cables, bandwidth is very high and impedance is low and stable across the entire operating frequency of the cable which can be as high as 60MHz.
- Blue priced from $249 (1.2m/4ft.)
- Silver priced from $499 (1.2m/4ft.)
Phono cables are available in virtually any configuration to fit any tonearm where the output cable can be detached.
A typical moving coil phono cartridge is able to generate a signal that is as low as 0.2 millivolts or as high as 3.0 millivolts. The highest output of any phono catridge we are aware of is 5 millivolts. Although the range of output in phono cartidges is broad, this output is minuscule compared to the output of a DAC, CD player or preamplifier. Our phono cables are engineered with this output disparity in mind and not simply a reconfigured analog interconnect. WyWires phono cables are unshielded as standard but can be ordered shielded at no additional cost

- Platinum priced from $1299 (1.23m/4ft.)
Analog Interconnect Cables
WyWires interconnects provide excellent electrical performance in all parameters.
The geometry of our interconnect cables enables an extremely low noise floor resulting in exceptional clarity, dynamic range, detail and ambient retrieval, as well as presence and soundstage that accurately captures the original venue and event. Like our other cables, the analog interconnects exhibit very high bandwidth, stable resistance and great frequency extension while at the same time preserving an organic and accurate tonal palette.
Available in single ended (RCA or TRS) and balanced (XLR) configurations or any combination to suite unusual requirements.
- Blue priced from $469 (1.23m/4ft.)
- Silver priced from $999 (1.23m/4ft.)
- Platinum priced from $1499 (1.23m/4ft.)
- Diamond priced from $4499 (1.23m/4ft.)
Utilizing our Litz wire, air dielectric technology, our speaker cables are engineered to preserve the output of any amplifier to any speaker regardless of the speakers’ load difficulties. Like our other cables, the speaker cables are neutral with very high bandwidth that will preserve the nuances and tonal palette present in advanced loudspeaker and amplifier designs where usable output can exceed 50KHz. Speaker cables are available in single, double and triple wire configurations and can be fitted with spade lugs and or banana plugs.
- Blue priced from $599 (2.5m/8ft.)
- Silver priced from $1399 (2.5m/8ft.)
- Platinum priced from $2299 (2.5m/8ft.)
- Diamond priced from $7999 (2.5m/8ft.)
The power supplies present in modern audio equipment assume that incoming power from the grid is fairly good in terms of phase, voltage and amperage. While a power cord will not add or subtract volts or amps (unless it’s undersized) we are able to partially correct phase anomalies present in the power grid. Our Litz wire power cord with its asymmetrical Litz bundles actually improves image focus, soundstage size and “openness” and helps to preserve the presence and scale of the original performance. The Juice II power cord is sized adequately for any known amplifier regardless of its current draw. Available in any length up to 20 feet and can be fitted with 15 or 20 amp IEC plugs along with NEMA (North America), Schuko (Europe) UK and Australia input plugs.

- Platinum priced from $899 (6ft.)
